Getting Started

Unpack and Clean: Remove all packaging materials and wash the removable parts (water reservoir, brew basket, permanent filters, etc.) with warm, soapy water. Rinse and dry thoroughly.
Prime the System: Before your first brew, run two full carafe cycles using only water. This will prepare the brewer for optimal performance.

Setting the Clock

Plug in the brewer. The clock will flash.
Press the hour (H) or minute (M) button to set the current time.
The clock will automatically set after 5 seconds.

Brewing Coffee

Fill the Reservoir: Lift the water reservoir, remove the lid, and fill it with fresh, filtered water up to the Max Fill line.
Insert Coffee Basket: Place the coffee filter holder (orange handle) into the brew basket. Add a paper filter or use the permanent filter.
Add Coffee: Use the Ninja Smart Scoop™ to measure your desired amount of coffee grounds. Refer to the included Coffee Measurement Chart for guidance.
Choose Brew Size and Style: Select your desired cup size using the Multi-Serve Dial. Then, turn the Start/Select Dial to choose Classic Brew, Rich Brew, Over Ice Brew, or Cold Brew.
Place Carafe/Cup: Position your carafe or cup under the brew basket. If using a cup, lower the Single-Serve Cup Platform.
Start Brewing: Press the Start/Select Dial to begin brewing.

Brewing Tea

Insert Tea Basket: Place the tea filter holder (green handle) into the brew basket. Add loose tea leaves or tea bags to the filter.
Choose Brew Size and Type: Select your desired cup size and tea type (Herbal, Black, Oolong, White, or Green) using the dials on the control panel.
